Chinese New Year 2020
In China, unlike most of the world, people do not follow the Gregorian calendar, and so New Year's Day is not celebrated on January 1, but is determined astronomically - just like Easter is planned here. The Chinese New Year is always celebrated at the first New Moon after the Winter Solstice which will occur on Saturday, January 28, in 2020. This concept of the New Year is often referred to as the Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, and its arrival is accompanied by large celebrations and parades with traditional Chinese lanterns and spectacular fireworks.
According to the Chinese calendar, this year will be ruled by the zodiac sign of the Rat. These animals are very adaptable and resilient; so in general, diplomacy and business will go well this year. Try to be friendly and focus on building a career. The year of the Rat is optimal for starting new projects, so don't be afraid to make big changes.
