Partial Lunar Eclipse
On the night of July 16-17, a breathtaking phenomenon is going to appear in the night sky - a partial lunar eclipse. It occurs when the Moon passes partially through the Earth's shadow. When this shadow, also called the umbra, covers the entire Moon, this is a total eclipse.
However, we won’t be so lucky because in our country, we can expect another phenomenon like this one no sooner than in six years. Still, be sure to enjoy the observation of a partial lunar eclipse, because it is a very rare phenomenon that can only be seen once or twice a year at most.
