Geminids Meteor Shower
Between the 6th and 17th December, the Geminids meteor shower will roam the night sky. Its individual meteoroids originate from dust particles from the Phaethon planet and are particularly visible near the constellation Gemini. Their activity is going to escalate on the night between December 13 and 14, when up to 120 meteors will cross the night sky every hour. Hence, we recommend using this time to view the falling stars, so that you can forget all about the Christmas rush and enjoy the undisturbed, fascinating show of one of this year’s most active meteor showers.
